Washing:

Machine wash your bamboo knit throw blanket on a gentle cycle with cold water (ideally below 30°C or 86°F). This preserves the softness and prevents shrinkage.
Use a mild detergent free of harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners. These can damage the fibers and reduce absorbency.
Consider washing the throw blanket alone or with similar lightweight items to avoid snags or abrasion.
Minimize spin speed or opt for no spinning at all. Excessive agitation can damage the delicate knit structure.

Drying:

Air drying is the best way to maintain the shape and softness of your throw. Lay the blanket flat on a drying rack or clothesline outdoors on a cool, dry day, or indoors in a well-ventilated area.
